The workshop was held at Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church in Phoenix. Classes were offered for both new and experienced directors and ringers. There were 2 music reading sessions. One for level 1 and 2 and one for level 3 and above. Some of the repertoire chosen for the Area XI 2008 Festival/Conference was included in each of the reading sessions. With the Festival Conference having three levels of music - Coppers, Copper-lites and Rookie Ringers there will be something for everyone. Check out the entire repertoire list. The Arizona Workshop included classes in Bass Bells, 4-in-hand, Ensemble Ringing, Bell Maintenance (Schulmerich and Malmark) Bell Techniques and Chimes in addition to the reading sessions. Instructors included Doug Benton, Roy Blomquist, Marilyn Chandler, Kay Cook, Marcy Hontz and Kelli McWhorter. Elizabeth McNab assisted in Kelli's 4-in-hand class.
