Change Ringing An explanation of Change Ringing from wikipedia. Change ringing is usually done with heavy tower bells and each person rings only one bell.
Change ringing with handbells can be done with each person having two bells. To ring the changes each person must remember what number their bells are with the highest bell being number 1, next one number 2, and so on down to lowest. (This means odd numbers are left hands and even numbers are right hands.) A list of various "changes" can be found at this website from England. From the "articles" list select "Named" and you'll get a list of lots of changes. Most common ones for handbell ringers are "Rounds", "Queens" and "Tittums".
